The golfer will want to take a big breath when they step up to the #5 tee. It is a challenging par 4 primarily because it has a narrow sloping landing area, and the approach shot to the green requires a carry over the pond and creek that flows in front of the green. The hole generally plays downhill, and there are 3 large fairway bunkers that are protecting the right side of the fairway. A creek borders the left. The tee shot needs to land between the bunker and the creek. As the golfer goes deeper into the fairway, the fairway itself becomes narrower and more undulating. This is a challenging hole.
