A southerly breeze helps the golfer as he/she plays back to the north. A downhill tee shot and then a dogleg right make Plum an interesting hole. To have any chance at birdie or par, the golfer needs to go long on the left. Large mature trees and steep slopes are guarding and hiding the right side of the fairway and a portion of the hole. The green is long and deep. As the pin goes back and right, it gets more challenging for the golfer. Trees on the left side of the fairway force the golfer to thread the needle to get the tee shot in the best position.
