Sumac is the most difficult hole on the back 9, handicap wise. Very few birdies are expected, and bogey will be a good score. There are opposing bunkers and an aiming bunker on the left. A slight dogleg right and a bunker protecting the green on the right suggest a strategy to play the left side off the tee shot. This will result in less interference with the bunkers on the approach to the green.
